Program Leader
In the professional training programs for Gestalt therapists (stages I and II) there is a program leader - this is a person responsible for the quality and timely conduct of the seminars of the Program, for the work of the presenter (s) of this program, for the work of invited leaders of individual seminars and for the work of interns.
The professional training of stage I and II therapists is a long-term project during which the group experiences many group conflicts, various group phenomena and certain stages of group development: from confluence to interdependence (from counter-dependence to interdependence). The program leader contributes not only to the development of students, but also to the promotion of the group as a whole. The ability of the program manager to withstand all stages of group development and the passage of crisis processes is a direct practical example for the trainee in his professional development. Also, one of the tasks of the program leader is to help the trainee overcome the hierarchical conflict and the ability to experience their shame, uselessness and helplessness by the end of the 3rd year of study, the opportunity to help students develop.
Only an MIGIS accredited trainer of category L (leading-trainer) and S (senior-trainer) can be the head of the program.
