In touch with the body
Working with the body is the shortest way to the unconscious, allowing you to get to the real causes of a person's problems.
In our culture, the head, i.e. the mind, is traditionally considered to be the main thing, and the body is secondary, which results in a poor quality of life. Focusing on the "needs" of the head, a person does not feel the true needs of the body and, as a result, stops feeling, expressing feelings, receiving information about the world and other people, and, ultimately, a person becomes unable to do what he or she likes and experience any pleasure.
Our body remembers everything: it reflects all our feelings, experiences, important events, life experiences, both negative and positive, from the very appearance of the body, i.e., the birth of a person.
Therefore, by acting directly on the human body, you can relax the chronic tensions living in the body, restore energy to the body, relieve chronic fatigue, symptoms of diseases and make the body free and beautiful.
The program is intended for
- for those who want to get to know themselves and their capabilities better;
- for students, psychologists, psychotherapists, and healthcare professionals who want to use body-oriented psychotherapy in their practice;
- for everyone who wants to deepen their understanding of themselves, their body and expand their development opportunities; learn to hear and understand their body, restore the connection between body, feelings and thoughts.
This program is valuable because from the first seminar, the participant can make significant progress in their relationship with their own body and feelings, in understanding their difficulties. As a rule, self-esteem and self-confidence increase, sensitivity to other people and, accordingly, mutual understanding with them. Due to the growth of personal strength and energy, the participant begins to change his or her life so that it has more harmony and satisfying relationships.
By living the experience of participating in each seminar, the participant moves deeper into his inner world, gaining a sense of unity with his body and feelings, new skills of interaction with the world.
This program will provide knowledge of a systematic approach to working with the psyche through the body, taking into account the needs of the body; to use the client's body as one of the "entry points" for solving the client's problems.
The program is presented as a method with theory, techniques, methods and exercises. The structure of the seminars includes lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises to learn and practice techniques.
This program is a Thematic Comprehensive Program and consists of 6 three-day seminars, every two months. Each seminar is 24 academic hours long.
Upon successful completion of the program, a CERTIFICATE of the Interregional Institute of Gestalt Therapy and Art is issued.
