Gestalt Therapy Training Program (Levels I and II) in Wrocław
The first level of Gestalt therapy training - is a program of professional and personal development that introduces participants to the basic principles, concepts, and practices of the Gestalt approach.
The training is structured around a combination of theoretical instruction, practical experience, and personal therapeutic work. Particular attention is paid to developing the ability to notice one’s own “here and now” experience, to become aware of one’s feelings, needs, ways of connecting with others, and the patterns of relationship-building.
During the training, participants are introduced to the core concepts of the Gestalt approach: contact and the boundaries of contact, figure and background, the contact cycle, awareness, responsibility, the phenomenological approach, creative adaptation, and mechanisms for interrupting contact. Theoretical material is explored through practical experience, experiments, small-group work, demonstrations, and discussions.
An important component of the program is the participants’ personal work. It provides an opportunity not only to acquire professional knowledge but also to explore one’s own way of being in relationships, to recognize one’s resources and challenges, to expand one’s range of choices, and to develop a more conscious attitude toward oneself and others.
The program creates a safe and supportive space for learning, exploration, and professional development. Participants gradually develop a Gestalt way of thinking and begin to view a person not in isolation, but within the context of their relationships, environment, and current life situation.
The first level serves as the foundation for further professional training in Gestalt therapy and, at the same time, is a standalone stage for gaining a deeper understanding of the Gestalt approach, its values, and its practice.

If the basic psychological education is obtained later, deferred certification is possible — no later than two years after completing the full training program at the MIGIS Institute.
