12.03 Lectures 1 of degree
Theoretical training (along with personal therapy and supervision) is an important part of a unified process of education in the field of Gestalt therapy, professional development and personality formation of a therapist.
The Gestalt therapist training program includes 60 lectures on theory and methodology. Familiarity with the philosophical and psychological basis and theoretical provisions of the Gestalt approach, with the main problems and justification of the techniques and methods used is traditionally carried out within the framework of training seminars.
Going beyond the training seminars to give lectures to students of the first and second stages as a mandatory part of the training of Gestalt therapists is an exclusive MIGIS project.
Author's lectures from leading MIGIS specialists for students of the second degree:
- provide an opportunity to expand knowledge and form a theoretical, methodological, didactic basis for improving professional competence in an economical and environmentally friendly way;
- allow the lecturer and the audience to engage in creative communication and co-creation in an emotional live interaction;
- contribute to the formation of a community culture.
Being an invaluable product of the therapeutic experience of each lecturer, the lectures are designed to help students comprehend their work in terms of the Gestalt approach and apply the principles of Gestalt therapy in their practical activities:
- in working with colleagues, taking into account the nuances of therapeutic growth (e.g., competition, etc.)
- in long-term therapeutic relationships,
- in working with different groups of clients: children, families, elderly, organizations, etc. or: borderline, addicted, depressed, etc,
- in working with different client states: fears, shame, guilt, anxiety, panic attacks, neuroses, addictions, psychosomatics, etc.
The best use of the knowledge gained at the lectures will be to realize the possibilities, integrate it into your value system, and put it into practice.
