About lectures

Theoretical training (along with personal therapy and supervision) is an important part of the unified process of Gestalt therapy education, professional formation and the therapist's personality.

The Gestalt therapist training program includes 60 lectures on theory and methodology. Familiarization with the philosophical and psychological basis and theoretical provisions of the Gestalt approach, with the main problems and justification of the techniques and methods used traditionally takes place within the framework of training seminars.

This is an exclusive project of MIGIS, which takes lectures for students of I and II stages as a mandatory part of Gestalt therapist training.
Author's lectures from leading MIGIS specialists for II level students:

  • give an opportunity to expand knowledge and form a theoretical, methodological, didactic basis for increasing professional competence in an economical and ecological way;
  • allow in an emotional live interaction between the lecturer and the audience to be in creative communication, in co-creation;
  • contribute to the formation of community culture.

As an invaluable product of each lecturer's therapeutic experience, the lectures are designed to help students conceptualize their work in the concepts of the Gestalt approach and apply the principles of Gestalt therapy to their practice:

  • in working with colleagues, taking into account the nuances of therapeutic growth (e.g., competition, etc.),
  • in long-term therapeutic relationships,
  • in working with different client states: fears, shame, guilt, anxiety, panic attacks, neuroses, addictions, psychosomatics, and so on.

The best application of the knowledge gained in the lectures will be to realize the possibilities, build it into your value system and implement it in your practice.
