About the course

Theoretical training (along with personal therapy and supervision) is an important part of a single process of education in the field of Gestalt therapy, professional development and the formation of the therapist's personality.

The training program for Gestalt therapists includes 96 hours of theory and methodology. Acquaintance with the philosophical and psychological base and theoretical provisions of the Gestalt approach, with the main problems and the rationale for the techniques and methods used traditionally takes place within the framework of training seminars.

Taking lectures for students of the I and II levels as an obligatory part of the training of Gestalt therapists beyond the training seminars is an exclusive project of MIGIS.

Author's lectures from leading specialists of MIGIS for students of the II level:

provide an opportunity to expand knowledge in an economical and environmentally friendly way and form a theoretical, methodological, didactic basis for increasing professional competence;
allow in the emotional live interaction of the lecturer with the audience to be in creative communication, in co-creation;
contribute to the formation of a community culture.

Being an invaluable product of the therapeutic experience of each lecturer, lectures are designed to help students comprehend their work in terms of the Gestalt approach and apply the principles of Gestalt therapy in their practice:

  • in working with colleagues, taking into account the nuances of therapeutic growth (for example, competition, etc.),
  • in a long-term therapeutic relationship,
  • in working with different groups of clients: children, families, old people, organizations, etc. or: borderline, dependent, depressive, etc.,
  • in working with various client states: fears, shame, guilt, anxiety, panic attacks, neuroses, addictions, psychosomatics, etc.

The best application of the knowledge gained in the lectures will be the awareness of opportunities, embedding in your value system and implementation in practice.
