It’s not mine! – that’s what I thought about a construction education. Indeed, it wasn't my choice of what or who to study in my first university. My search for my true path led me to psychotherapy as a profession.

But first, I really wanted to understand my relationship with my son. I thought of myself as the perfect mom. And then came his teenage years.

Theoretical knowledge about child and adolescent psychology, and lots of practice, helped and still help me, as a 23-year-old adult with a son, to enjoy his successes, his funny and surprising thoughts, and sometimes feel sad about living in different countries.

As a daughter, my childhood memories are full of sadness, loneliness, and anger. From coldness to "warmth" – that’s how I would describe my relationship with my mom today. I came to the realization that it won’t be any different, that I haven’t lived up to all her expectations, yet I still have the right to live and organize my life the way I want to. We manage to find common ground in conversations about life. After all, I am so much like her!

Shame, my mom’s message "you must be able to do everything yourself and rely only on yourself" played a role in the years that passed. Now, I know how to ask for and accept support. I teach this to my clients.

Psychotherapy showed me (removed limitations) the beautiful things, events, and people that can fill your life. Among them: food, sex (with a loved one), books – an endless world. Perfume art and theater became unexpected, amazing spheres for pleasure, interest, and meetings, interactions with others.

Also, it’s nice or interesting to realize that:

  • There is life after divorce.
  • You can be charmed by and disappointed in relationships. You can slowly get to know each other, come closer, and distance yourself.
  • It’s natural to face pain, anxiety, doubts, and helplessness.

We are going through tough times now, and I am in forced migration in Germany.

I continuously practice offline and online with teenagers and adults who face new life challenges: losses, relocations, adapting to life in a new country, and language barrier problems.

I’m a good listener, an interested therapist. With me, you can move towards change, remembering your support systems and receiving professional support from me.

I’m here for you!
