Gulaj Oksana

For about fifteen years now, I have been immersed in the world of Gestalt therapy. During this time, I gave lectures for students of MIGIS and for those who have just begun to get acquainted with this area of psychotherapy. Conducted master classes, round tables. Led with a colleague (Olga Velikozhon) a psychological club. She released several groups of the thematic program "Active Listening" for parents in collaboration with the director of the children's center Margolina Natalya.

She released 3 groups of a long-term program: "Therapy of parental and child problems with creativity" in co-therapy with Zakharova Tatyana.

I work individually with adults and children, as well as couples and families.

Since 2013, I have been leading a project of one-day practical seminars on the method of Systemic Constellations.

Since 2017, I have been co-therapy with Olga Shpilevskaya, leading the 1-2 stage of Gestalt therapy education.

My values are family and good relationships, belonging to a tribe and community, acceptance, interdependence, sincerity and simplicity, freedom of choice, respect, individuality, ability to listen and hear, ability to interact, flexibility and precision, integrity, intellect, humor, kindness, and sincerity. I try to have all of these in my life. I am confident that I can help anyone who sincerely wants it and that every person has reasons for their behavior. Therefore, I treat each of my clients without judgment and with respect, as they bring their unique story, experiences, disappointments, and hopes to the session space.

My first favorite profession is a medical bacteriologist (with the highest category). And Gestalt therapy is my second favorite profession. A friend from university, knowing my interest in psychology (there was such a subject at the university), invited me to the first level group in November 2006. Since then, I have been constantly learning and constantly honing my skills and knowledge. And now I am finishing a specialized program in psychopathology at the French Gestalt Institute.

What influenced my choice? I wanted to know myself, improve my communication skills with other people, stop being touchy, and build more harmonious relationships. I also wanted to be a good mother and a happy woman. I got the result by testing everything on myself. Well, also on my loved ones, because my changes affected them too!

On the second level, trying myself as a Gestalt therapist, I seriously thought about this profession. And I have never regretted it! My life has become more conscious, I have gained internal freedom, lightness, and my relationships with my family have changed. Having acquired knowledge and sufficient life experience, I began to help other people.

I work with problems such as:

  • difficulties and conflicts in relationships (parents-children, spouses, colleagues, etc.);
  • age and personality crises;
  • anxiety, fears, resentments, feelings of guilt, shame, and more;
  • separations, betrayals;
  • inability to be emotionally close to another person;
  • low self-esteem, disappointment in life, and more;
  • psychosomatics (allergy, panic attacks, asthma, nervous tics, etc.);
  • repetition of unwanted patterns of behavior.
