Academic Standards
The Gestalt therapist training program (Level I and II) is conducted over 3.5 to 4 years and includes:
715 acad. hours of theory and methodology, 279 acad. hours of personal therapy (119 individual, 160 group), 158 acad. hours of supervision (27 individual, 131 group), 401 acad. hours of workshop.
715 hours of theory and methodology
- 452 hours - 18 thematic seminars
- 72 hours - training groups at intensives
- 112 hours - theoretical classes (for those MIGIS representations where no onsite theoretical classes are organized, they are replaced by theoretical papers)
- 18 hours - theoretical training at the intensives
- 5 hours - theoretical training at conferences
- 56 hours - participation in conferences
279 hours - personal therapy
- 60 hours - individual therapy
- 9 hours - individual therapy at intensives
- 16 hours - therapy group at the intensivet
- 48 hours - group therapy sessions
- 50 hours - personal therapy in threesomes
- 96 hours - small group therapy sessions in parallel with the program
158 hours of supervision
- 90 hours - regular supervision group work with program trainer (for MIGIS representations regular supervision group work is replaced with supervision seminars)
- 12 hours of one-on-one supervision at an Intensive
- 21 hours - group supervision at the Intensive
- 21 hours - supervising work in troika (for MIGIS Missions the group supervising work in troika is replaced with a supervising seminar)
- 14 hours - individual supervising work with a real client
401 hours of workshop
- 150 hours - work in small groups - "threesomes"
- 16 hours - group therapeutic work at the Intensive
- 9 hours - therapeutic work with a client during the Intensive
- 21 hours - participation in the Festival
- 205 hours - therapeutic and consulting work with clients.
